To create a throw-size blanket, I typically need enough fabric to make 24 twelve-inch squares.
Recommended:
20–24 adult shirts in good condition
Minimum:
Approximately 12 shirts if both the front and back of each shirt can be used

All clothing should be freshly laundered and free from excessive stains, damage, or heavy wear that may affect the finished blanket. If you would like your Memory Blanket made from garments not listed, please feel free to email me before ordering. I would be happy to discuss your fabric choices and determine whether the garments will be suitable for use in your blanket.
If there is not enough usable fabric to complete all 24 squares, I can incorporate coordinating fabric at no additional cost. I will carefully select fabrics that complement your clothing and help create a cohesive finished design while keeping the focus on your treasured garments.
If there is a particular shirt, logo, graphic, or piece of clothing that you would like featured in a specific location on the blanket, please contact me before sending your garments.
For example, you may wish to have a favorite shirt placed in the center of the blanket, a special graphic featured in a corner, or certain garments grouped together. I am happy to accommodate reasonable placement requests whenever possible.
