Our Baby Clothing Memory Blanket is a beautiful way to preserve your little one’s earliest memories in a soft, heirloom-quality keepsake. Each quilt is sewn using your baby’s clothing and meaningful items, transforming outgrown pieces into a treasured blanket you can cherish for years to come.
This lap and nursery-sized quilt is perfect for displaying in a nursery, draping over a rocking chair, or keeping as a cozy reminder of those precious early years.
45" × 45" (approximately 3.75 ft × 3.75 ft)
This generously sized square quilt includes a coordinating border for a beautifully finished heirloom look.
This quilt is made using 64 individual 5" squares cut from your baby’s clothing and keepsake items, arranged in an 8 × 8 grid layout.
A coordinating fabric border is added separately to frame and complete the quilt design.
To complete this quilt, I will need enough baby clothing and fabric to create 64 usable squares.
Please provide a minimum of:
15 baby outfits
1–2 baby blankets (receiving blankets or swaddles are ideal)
Optional items such as bibs and burp cloths
If additional fabric is needed, I will carefully incorporate a coordinating cotton fabric to ensure the quilt is balanced and beautifully finished.

Heavily stained or damaged fabric that cannot be cut around
Items with excessive holes or thinning fabric
Items that are too thick or non-sewable (such as heavy plush toys or padded items)
Each quilt is finished with a coordinating fabric border selected at my discretion. Border fabrics are chosen to complement the colors and patterns within your baby’s clothing to create a balanced, cohesive design.
The quilt is backed with a soft, cozy fleece in a neutral coordinating color, also selected at my discretion, to provide a smooth and comfortable finish.
To ensure consistency in design and quality, border and backing fabric selections are not customizable.
